Cable Car
Montjuïc.
The aerial crossing over the port, return trip between the mountain of Montjuïc and the beach of Barceloneta. No guide, no schedule: go when you want and come back when you feel like it.
From the hill
to the sea.
The most beautiful way to cross Barcelona is not overland. It is through the air — hanging from a cable 70 metres above the harbour, with the entire city spread out below your feet.
The Montjuïc Cable Car connects Barcelona with the top of the hill in a 750-metre journey over the city. Take the funicular from Paral·lel metro station up to Parc de Montjuïc, then switch to the cable car to reach the summit — with stops at Miramar and Montjuïc Castle.
On the way up, the bird's-eye views of Barcelona are spectacular. You'll spot the Sagrada Família, Torre Glòries, the port and the beaches stretching north in a straight line.
The final destination is Montjuïc Castle, a 17th-century fortress with 360º views over the city and the Mediterranean. Nearby you'll also find the Fundació Joan Miró, Poble Espanyol and the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
No guide, no group — we give you the return ticket and you go whenever you like. Perfect for a morning before padel or to round off the afternoon watching the sunset over the sea.
